Glyceryl monostearate NE is a nonionic wax primarily used as a co-emulsifier, thickener, and emollient in cosmetics and skincare formulations. Unlike its self-emulsifying counterpart it cannot hold an emulsion together on its own and requires a co-emulsifier to stabilize oil and water mixtures.
